World’s Most Expensive Hair Brush

http://cdn.most-expensive.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/expensive-hair-brush.jpg

There are many treatments available to prevent or even reverse thinning hair and baldness. If you want to use one of those most technological advanced means available, however, look no further than what is likely the most expensive hair brush in the world—the Viatek HairPro Luxor Laser Hair Brush.
This hair brush uses nine lasers and six LEDs to stimulate hair growth via a technique called laser hair therapy. The theory behind laser hair therapy is that the lasers stimulate red blood cell production, causing resting hair follicles to become active.
Aside from the lasers and LEDs, the luxury hair brush features 26 removable bristles and a rechargeable battery.
This expensive hair brush retails at $499.99, but compare that to the $1,000 to $2,000 price per session for laser hair therapy at the salon or clinic.

Most Expensive Video Game

by jeremy on March 11, 2008 · Comments (20)
Back in 1993, when the revolutionary first person shooter, Doom, was released, a game could be made by eleven people with a budget that was probably around $200,000. Today, the production of a video game can cost upwards of tens of millions of dollars and sometimes takes over 5 years to develop. Releasing an A-list title is a massive business undertaking, employing hundreds or thousands of people. An incredible amount of risk is involved in releasing a title. Big name publishers lean towards releasing sequels and safer titles that appeal to a broader audience.
Sometimes an ambitious game developer will completely overrun its budget and development time. Sometimes this results in an epic title that breaks all the rules set before it. More often than not, it results in poor reviews, poor sales and a disappointing game.
Most expensive video game - Shenmue
Arguably one of the latter, the most expensive video game, until recently, was a Sega Dreamcast game called Shenmue. Released in 1999, the project cost over $70 million and took over 7 years to complete. It was produced and directed by Yu Suzuki for the Sega-AM2 (Sega Amusement Machine Research and Development Department 2). Shenmue boasted unparalleled freedom and interactivity and even a real time weather system. But this wasn’t enough to impress many reviewers; the most expensive video game received mixed reviews and experienced mediocre sales. Nonetheless, the expensive game inspired a massive fan base that remains active to this day.
Most expensive video game - Grand Theft Auto IV
Rockstar North, known for their mature titles, has recently ousted Shenmue from its most expensive position and replaced it with their own offering, Grand Theft Auto IV. Taking place in the fictional Liberty City, a close likeness of New York City, GTA IV also allows players an unequaled level of freedom and interactivity. The in-game radio has over 150 songs which, through a deal with Amazon, players can download in real life. The game even includes two hours of television that a player can watch while ignoring pressing responsibilities such as assassinating suspiciously familiar anti-video game lawyers.
While the exact figure isn’t yet public knowledge, Rockstar North’s president has estimated that the world’s most expensive video game cost about $100 million to make. Luckily for us, the game only costs consumers around $60.

World’s Most Expensive Motorcycles

by tom on July 8, 2010 · Comments (210)
Motorcycles have had mass appeal to the general public for roughly a century and a half. An American named Sylvester Howard Roper designed one of the first motorcycles in the 1860s. The motorcycle was displayed at fairs and circuses around the eastern U.S.. Europeans also had their hand in popularizing motorcycles and, during the World Wars, motorcycles functioned as a quick means of transportation.
As the motorcycle progressed, the engines and frames became bigger, sleeker, faster and more powerful, resulting in the high-tech and expensive motorcycles of today. If you can afford one, a custom motorcycle built to your exact specifications is within reach.

Macchia Nera concept bike – $201,000

Built around a Ducati 998RS engine, this motorcycle’s Italian designers and engineers set out to create an extremely high tech and expensive motorcycle that would be thought of as “the ultimate track bike” that is “simply beautiful and beautifully simple”. The view from the side of the Macchia Nera shows exposed belts and engine components, giving its design a minimalist feel while still being aesthetically pleasing. World’s Most Expensive MP3 Players

by tom on September 23, 2010 · Comments (96)
MP3 players have taken the world by storm since Apple released their original 5 GB iPod in 2001. The iPod wasn’t the first MP3 player, though. The first of the modern successors to portable tape and CD players was produced in 1997 by SaeHan Information Systems. Their MPMan, later licensed to Eiger Labs for distribution in North America, held only 32 MB of music.
Since then, MP3 players have become almost as ubiquitous as cell phones—and they’re status symbols in the same way cell phones are, as well. A variety of expensive MP3 players have been released in the past decade. What follows are the most expensive MP3 players in the world.
TrekStore i.Beat Organix Gold – $20,000
World's Most Expensive MP3 Players - TrekStor i.Beat Organix gold

The iPod and accompanying headphones are made of 18k white and pink gold. There are 430 diamonds on the iPod and another 118 on the headphones. While its estimated worth is around $40,000, its exact value is up in the air since it is a unique item sold as part of a larger auction prize.
Meng Duo’s Douglas.J Presidential HD – $44,000
World's Most Expensive MP3 Players - The Presidential
Over twice as expensive, however, was the Douglas.J Presidential MP3 player by London-based Meng Duo Ltd. When ordering your own Presidential, you needed to choose not only the gold used in the casing (white or yellow) but also the physical configuration of the diamond buttons set in the front of the player. This expensive digital audio player included a gigabyte of memory, a 65k color screen for video playback and support for a plethora of audio and video file formats. The price also included Class 85 membership that provided exclusive access to a small group of clubs as well as hand delivery of the blinged out MP3 player anywhere in the world.

Most Expensive Purses

by tom on January 15, 2007 · Comments (47)
Expensive purses have long been status symbols in upper-class culture. For years women routinely shelled out hundreds, sometimes thousands for the “it” bag, but the major price shift to the five figure handbag occurred nearly five years ago when bag makers started offering “signature items”. With this shift came a willingness to spend way more than necessary and the idea that these handbags are not just accessories, but investments and collectibles too. Check out the most expensive purses in the world.
Louis Vuitton’s Tribute Patchwork Bag – $45,000
Most expensive purse - Louis Vuitton Tribute Patchwork Bag
Louis Vuitton’s Tribute Patchwork Bag, LV’s most expensive handbag, has an even higher retail price. This hideous bag, made in 2007 from fifteen other bags exhumed from LV’s fashion graveyard—their spring/summer and cruise lines, to be exact—actually sold out fairly quickly.
One can only hope that the supply, limited to only twenty-four numbered bags, had more to do with that than high demand.
Hermès “Birkin” – $64,800
World's Most Expensive Purses - Hermès Birkin
While a Hermès “Birkin” bag retails at $37,000 USD, the highest amount paid for one of these bags was $64,800 USD, sold at a Doyle New York auction in April of 2005. This black crocodile-skin features silver hardware, 14-karat white gold closure plates paved with 174 diamonds and an additional 310 diamonds on the lock. The 484 diamonds weigh in at 14.11 carats.
Leiber Precious Rose – $92,000
World's Most Expensive Purses - Leiber Precious Rose
Without a doubt, the most remarkable thing about Judith Leiber’s most expensive handbag is its unique rose shape. There’s a lot more going on with this purse than that, however. It’s lined with metallic kidskin and features 1,016 diamonds (42.56 carats), 1,169 pink sapphires and 800 pink tourmalines. For the purse’s metal components, Leiber used 18-karat white gold. Only one was ever made and it’s no longer available from Leiber’s boutique.
Lana Marks’ Cleopatra Clutch – $100,000
World's Most Expensive Purses - Lana Marks' Cleopatra Clutch
Lana Marks releases just one of these limited edition bags per year. Pictured here is the 2007 bag, made with metallic silver alligator skin and 1,500 fully cut, faceted black and white diamonds set in an 18-karat white gold frame. Each year’s bag is signed and numbered.
Chanel “Diamond Forever” Classic Bag – $261,000
World's Most Expensive Purses - Chanel Diamond Forever
Only thirteen of these pricey Chanel bags were created with only five available stateside. The alligator-skin bags featured clasps set with 334 diamond (3.56 carats) in the shape of Chanel’s trademark double-C logo. Eighteen-karat white gold was used to fashion both the clasp and the bag’s long shoulder straps.
Ginza Tanaka’s purse – $1.9 million
World's most expensive purse
(via CityNews)
The most expensive purse in the world is a unique bag created by Japanese jewelry house Ginza Tanaka. It shouldn’t surprise you that the most expensive purse is covered in diamonds—over 2,000 diamonds totaling 208 carats, in fact—but the bag’s other features make it truly special. For one thing, the rest of the bag is made of platinum, a very difficult metal to work for such a project. For another, the strap and clasp can be detached and worn as a necklace and brooch. It’s almost as if they expect someone to actually use this bag!
The luxurious handbag will be on display in several stores across London during the first ever London Jewellery Week. It’s being offered by jewelry shop Nicholas James for the phenomenal price of £1 million (nearly US $2 million

most expensive car rims in the world

Big-name rappers and athletes are probably already familiar with Asanti, though you may not be. Last year Asanti was responsible for the then most expensive wheels in the world, a cubic zirconium encrusted set weighing in at a chunky 63,000 carets and an even heftier $250,000.
most expensive rims in the world
This year, the manufacturer ups the ante with the world’s first genuine diamond-encrusted rims. Debuted at the November SEMA auto show, the $1,000,000 foursome sports a total of 110,000 carets of genuine gemstomes- and comes with a free Bentley Continental GT as a sort of “manufacturer’s rebate”. The gemmed 22-inch set represents the apex of the Asanti brand, whos slogan “Unequalled luxury” is conveyed by their most expensive rims as well as their standard consumer offerings, which include rims with faux woodgrain finishes as well as genuine alligator leather adhered to the face of the wheel.

How would you like to gain a piece of television and fashion history while helping out children with learning difficulties? Bid on one of the most expensive sweaters and you may be able to do just that.
Erinn Cosby, one of Bill Cosby’s four daughters, is auctioning off three of her famous father’s notorious sweaters “just in time for Father’s Day.” Bidding starts on June 2nd and proceeds from the sale of the three sweaters will go to the Hello Friend/Ennis William Cosby foundation.
When playing Dr. Heathcliff Huxtable on The Cosby Show (1984-1992), Bill Cosby most often wore shirts with loud, geometric, swirling and/or patchwork patterns. This habit gave rise to the term “Cosby sweater,” used to describe similar sweaters.
Bill and Camille Cosby set up Hello Friend after the murder of their son, Ennis Cosby, while he was studying for his master’s degree in education at Columbia University. Having struggled with dyslexia as a child, he wished to become a special education teacher. The Ennis William Cosby Foundation seeks to help teachers address the needs of children with similar difficulties.

They say the clothes make the man. That’s probably less true today than when you could tell a man’s occupation by the hat he wore, but if it’s true of anything then it’s true of the world’s most expensive shirt.
Swedish shirt-making company Eton, celebrating their 80th birthday, created this shirt out of the finest Egyptian cotton. Of course, it couldn’t be the most expensive shirt in the world without a few diamonds. Both the studs and the cufflinks are encrusted with diamonds—white diamonds on the cufflinks and colored diamonds on the studs.
World's most expensive shirt
As if that isn’t enough, the dress shirt will be touring the world before it’s sold at auction next year. The luxurious shirt will make stops in Milan, LA, Stockholm and a few other places with Eton stores.
